The investment by Datum included a 5-axis CNC Fanum Lambda VTS machine with an impressive working area of X=8 x Y=3 x Z=1.5 m. The machine is primarily designed for precise CNC machining of aluminum and modern composites. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, this milling machine uses absolute linear encoders from HEIDENHAIN. Additionally, it is equipped with an advanced HSD head with brakes on axis A and C, and a spindle encoder.
