Growing orders encouraged Maxton Design to invest in high-performance FANUM 5-axis CNC milling machine Sigma ST. This model has a gantry structure with two working tables, enabling shuttle machining on two tables, which significantly speeds up and increases production efficiency. The tables can be connected in one in case of machining really big workpieces (4000x2200mm). A big advantage of the Sigma ST is that the tables extend beyond the protective housing. This is useful for quick reloading of the table, and also when changing heavy tooling (equipment) - you can successfully use a gantry/crane/forklift.
At Maxton Design, there are already three machines of the Sigma ST model, which, due to its high machining efficiency, are very popular among manufacturers of other industries.
Laminate cnc milling
Sigma ST milling machines in Maxton Design perform precise 5-axis cnc milling of GRP laminate products (glass fiber reinforced), carbon composites, ABS. They enable the production of forms - modeling of MDF, wood, prolab, modeling boards, aluminum.
