Pressure safety mats for CNC machines to protect CNC operator
Safety pressure mats are pressure-sensitive devices - safety elements for a CNC machining center. The mats signal the appearance of the CNC operator or another person in the danger zone while the CNC machine tool is working.
These devices have sensors that give a signal when pressure is applied to the mat surface. the pressure of the safety mat produces a signal when intense pressure is applied to the working surface of the mat. Pressure, caused by the entry of the operator or more people on the mat, which exceeds 35 kg, triggers the sensor and changes the signal (from NO to NC). The signal is routed to the safety module, which causes e.g. stopping the machine tool, thus avoiding the occurrence of a life-threatening situation for a person who has found himself in the danger zone.
Pressure safety mats are offered in 2 types of cover:
- PVC with non-slip embossing
- aluminum checker plate
Standalone standard mats and Modular mats
Standard mats - PVC or Aluminum cover. The safety pressure mat has a four-core cable. PVC mats can be realized with 2 sensitive zones, controlled by 2 separate circuits. In a situation where two zones of the mat are activated, these two signals block the entire system. It is possible to place the mats side by side to obtain larger surfaces. The offer includes the following types of profiles:
Modular mats only made of PVC. Standard modules are connected together to obtain the desired surface and shape of the pressure mat.
