The LAMBDA GT 5-axis CNC Machining Center for 3D modeling enables precise CNC milling of models and hooves, as well as injection and casting molds. This 5-axis CNC milling machine has a heavy bed, which is the basis for the machining table - T-shaped, raster or hybrid, and at the same time the basis for the kinematic system of the portal carrying the milling head. The described CNC modeling center is made as a double, composite spatial portal. The portal movement is driven by two servomotors, located on both sides of the machine table and working synchronously.
Thanks to the portal structure used, the LAMBDA GT CNC milling machine has unrivaled rigidity, which results in a very high level of stability and precision of machining under all load conditions. The above-mentioned features of the machine tool enable precise CNC milling of many types of materials, such as aluminum alloys, plastics, GRP polymer composites, MDF, HDF, polystyrene, styrodur, NECURON modeling foam, SMP RenPaste 4666 modeling paste, Araldite, CNC milling of wood and wood-based materials , while maintaining very high accuracy and excellent quality of the processed surfaces.
Automation of measurements
To speed up the performance of control and measurement functions, the LAMBDA GT CNC milling machine, like other types of CNC machines built at FANUM, not only from the LAMBDA series, are equipped with the MTP Gold Medal award-winning auto-calibration system for multi-axis CNC machines - automatic correction of biaxial parameters , tilt-and-tilt working heads. This function allows, if necessary, to check the correctness of the machine calibration without the need for the intervention of the CNC service.

The Lambda GT is equipped with a double mobile portal, which provides unmatched rigidity and compact design (the machine does not require additional protective guards). This configuration is especially recommended for very accurate, complex models made of hard materials.
