Speed and versatility
Sigma Fast ZM machining center features 6 interpolated axes. Two independent working tables allow continuous operation without stopping the machine when mounting/removing the machined workpieces. The machine features a compact gantry construction. Two independent working tables and linear X axis driven by toothed rails allow quicker and quieter machine operation. Sigma Fast ZM can be used for manufacturing parts of chairs, tables, beds, stairs, moulds and models. We can produce several different versions according to the machining ranges of the X, Y and Z axes.
The use of a compact four-prism head allows for much easier processing of very complex shapes.
Work tables of special design may be fitted with folded guards. This guarantees the best possible protection for the most important machine parts such as the drive system and cable guides.
The workpiece magazine has a patented design with a collision prevention system.
Three modes of operation – adjust the machine to your current production needs
Sigma ZM can work in fully automated mode due to the use of component feeders in both machining areas. A special support rack for component feeder trays allows them to slide into the stationary area to provide one or two work areas when manual mounting is required, such as with 3-dimensional components of larger dimensions.
