Sigma L is an industrial CNC machining center designed for high-performance processing of furniture boards, furniture fronts and furniture elements. CNC machine designed for cutting, cutting Alucobond boards, Dibond boards, composite boards, facade boards, polypropylene boards, PU model boards, wood-based boards (MDF, HPL, OSB, plywood, chipboard).
Design & CNC equipment
This specialized CNC machine is equipped with modern, multiplied machining units consisting of a main spindle with its own tool magazine and a drilling unit with a saw. Each working unit is equipped with an independent Z axis. The units can be mechanically coupled together in the X axis or work independently.
Prefabricated products are mounted on specialized raster tables by vacuum. Vacuum raster tables with pneumatic actuators located on the entire surface, allow easy positioning of workpieces and collection of ready elements. Bases can be turned on / off depending on the size of prefabricated elements. On one table with an area of 2200 x 2200 [mm], it is possible to simultaneously assemble and process several furniture fronts during one cycle. The design of the SIGMA L CNC machine allows for simultaneous processing of up to four details in a format of up to 2 × 1 m in sequential mode - during reloading in one field of work, processing continues in the other field. The construction of the machine ensures a very high level of operating safety, which is confirmed by the CE certificate.
The innovative control system used in Sigma L is designed to work in the INDUSTRY 4.0 system (digital industry). The extensive interface fully cooperates with SMART FACTORY systems for increased efficiency in production management through the use of intelligent devices and new technologies. The system enables, among other things, coupling the machine tool with the automatic loading and unloading system, as well as remote diagnostics and management of the machine service, through ongoing monitoring of the technical condition. As a result, it is easy to schedule the necessary inspections, maintenance and advance replacement of the components that require it to avoid sudden repairs in emergency mode. For example, parameters such as the current condition of the spindles (load level, winding temperature, bearing temperature, etc.) are monitored.

Each of working unit is equipped with an independent Z axis. The units can be coupled together mechanically along the X axis or operate independently.

The machine has been equipped with two universal vacuum raster tables allowing for quick assembly of prefabricated components and reception of finished parts. The machine operates in alternating mode; during machining in the first work area, components are mounted in the second.
Bases can be switched on/off depending on the size of the prefabricated components. To improve the process of mounting the components, pneumatic base motors were used throughout the tables. A work table of 2200x2200 [mm] allows simultaneous assembly and processing of several furniture fronts during one working cycle.
