Lambda VTM Heavy Duty is a 5-axis CNC machining centre created for heavy-duty tasks that guarantees maximum accuracy.
To meet the needs of our customers, thanks to years of experience and technological partnerships, we have developed a solution that opens up completely new possibilities for machining a wide range of materials.
The new reinforced Lambda VTM Heavy Duty machine design meets the highest standards and precision in metal, plastic and composite machining.
Heavy Duty machining centers use:
- Reinforced steel construction, closed profiles of large cross sections with internal ribbing, welded and heat annealed
- HST810 fork head with direct drive and 30 to 50 kW spindle with encoder. HSK A63 or HSK A100 tool connectors. The head has pneumatic brakes for the A and C axes for greater rigidity in 3+2 machining
- Heidenhain or Siemens Sinumerik ONE CNC control
- Direct position measurement system (linear scales)
- Dual servodrives in all linear axes (XYZ)
- Working table, cast iron or steel, anchored to the floor or built into the floor, providing a stable cutting surface for the material
The cabin can be enclosed with a fully automatic bellows roof, which allows loading with an overhead crane. The roof limits the spread of dust and gases outside the workspace, creating a comfortable working environment for the operator.
Thanks to their high stability and rigidity, Lambda VTM Heavy Duty machining centres are able to meet all modeling, tool and mold construction requirements, including those of the shipbuilding, aerospace, automotive and wind industries.
The pilot model of the machine seen in the photos is a reinforced over 40-ton structure with a working field of 4000 x 3700 x 2500 mm.
